National Gallery Heist

these are photos i shot around 9 years ago in the Nation Gallery London.. i had this idea that i wanted to photograph the security guards.. having done a bit of that work myself i knew how mind numbing it was watching people wondering around all day and trying to stay awake.. so i wanted the public out.. not easy as its the busiest gallery in London.. eventually convinced the heads at the gallery to open early and give me free rain of the space before the public arrived.. don’t know who they thought i was.. David Hockney was in a week or so before doing the same thing but with crayons.. anyways a unique chance to wander around with nobody getting in the way.. they paid the guards to come in early for the shoot.. turned out ok
